What to expect
Tuna Fishing Itinerary
Leaving Mylor Yacht Harbour (Falmouth, Cornwall) at 8am to the fishing grounds which are rich with wildlife including Bottle Nose and Common Dolphins, Minky and Pilot Whales.
Our adventure starts with visually looking for bait, birds and gannets.
Bait balls are located on our sonar and the lures are deployed, anticipating a strike at any moment.
Upon a hook up the client can use stand up method or our ‘Release’ fighting chair.
Fight times differ depending on the size of the fish. Anywhere from 30 minutes to 1 hour would be an average fight time.
The fish is brought to the side of the boat, measured, photographed and tagged. An average 10 minute revival time ensures its wellbeing and healthy release of the fish.
